1. What this service is
ClaimKept (a trading name of Northfields Enterprise Limited, company number 07693254) is software for UK companies preparing a research and development (R&D) tax relief claim, and for their accountants. It organises the company's information, applies fixed calculation rules, uses AI to draft wording from the company's own notes, and produces a claim file and PDF for review. The service is for businesses only.
2. Not tax advice. Your accountant is responsible for the claim.
We do not give tax advice, we are not your tax agent, and we never submit anything to HMRC. All figures are indicative. Draft wording may contain mistakes. A qualified accountant chosen by you must review and approve the claim, and files it with HMRC. Whether any work qualifies as R&D, and the amounts claimed, are decisions for you and your accountant. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and of any claim made.
3. Accountants
If you approve a claim using the service, you confirm you are a qualified accountant acting for that company, and you remain responsible for your professional work under your own engagement terms and professional body rules. We may introduce companies to partner accountants; any engagement and fee is agreed directly between the company and the accountant. We do not share in accountants' fees.
4. Price and payment
The check is free and gives an indicative estimate only. The full claim costs £495 for one company and one accounting period, paid via Stripe. It includes the claim workspace and up to 5 generations of the claim pack (report, form answers and claim file) for that company and period. Our fee is fixed and never depends on the amount of relief.
5. Refunds
The pack is digital content supplied straight after payment. If something goes wrong and you don't receive it, email ukpcn999@gmail.com and we'll put it right or refund you.
6. Your data and claim files
We don't store your answers or claim files on our servers. You are responsible for keeping copies of your claim file and for sharing it only with your accountant.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the claim concerned, and we are not liable for any relief not obtained, any tax, interest or penalty, or any loss of profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
